I take great pleasure in serving my Lord, Jesus Christ and using the gifts He has given me to prepare students for the serious moral, spiritual, mental and financial issues that confront those who would assume the responsibility of wielding deadly force.

My wife, Debbie, and I have been married for over 50 years. We have a son, Chris, and daughter-in-law Molly, and our grandson, Flynn. When you come to class you will be met and greeted by Maddie and Tucker, our trained guard dogs.

Because of noise and safety issues I provide the gun and ammunition for this class.

In my continuing efforts to reduce noise in the neighborhood, to reduce wear and tear on the bullet stops, shorten the overall length of the class, and enhance safety for the students, I have decided to provide a firearm and ammunition for the purposes of the class.

My range is inside my workshop, and accommodates 1 shooter at the time. It's very comfortable in the summer, but can be a little cool in the winter, depending on your taste. A jacket is recommended in cold weather. Also, since semi-auto pistols tend to throw hot brass back, it is recommended that you not wear low cut tops, or other clothing which could catch the brass. A baseball type cap is also handy to keep the brass out of your face and clothing.

You will need to bring a bag lunch and plan to work through lunch.

There will be soft drinks available for purchase. Bottled water is free and there is cold and room temperature water available

NEWS!

In the process of continuing to become the best instructor I can be, I sought more specialized training in the laws of self defense. That search led me to a seminar given by Attorney Andrew Branca of Law of Self Defense. After that seminar, I decided to pursue certification as an instructor. I am very happy to inform you that I have, indeed, graduated from that certification course!

If you plan to obtain the concealed carry permit, and carry a handgun to defend yourself, your family, and others, you should pursue more training! The Law of Self Defense state specific seminars are a great way to spend a day!

Go to the "LINKS" page to access The Law of Self Defense website for more information. While there, check out the Instructor Program page for the Verified Graduates. You will find me there!

Thank you for choosing Hitting the Mark Firearms Training,

Mark Cline
